ANXIOUS parents were due to speak at County Hall this morning in a bid to convince councillors not to close 15 middle schools in north Worcestershire.
Nine members of the public were expected to launch a final appeal to council leaders as they prepared to debate the Wyre Forest Review - £150m plans to dump three-tier education in favour of primary and secondary schools.
If Worcestershire County Council's cabinet agrees to the shake-up, all 11 middle schools and four first schools in Bewdley, Stourport-on-Severn and Kidderminster would shut.
